2015–16 South-West Indian Ocean cyclone season : ウィキペディア英語版 | 2015–16 South-West Indian Ocean cyclone season
The 2015–16 South-West Indian Ocean cyclone season is an ongoing event of the annual cycle of tropical cyclone and subtropical cyclone formation. It began on November 15, 2015, and will end on April 30, 2016, with the exception for Mauritius and the Seychelles, for which it will end on May 15, 2016. These dates conventionally delimit the period of each year when most tropical and subtropical cyclones form in the basin, which is west of 90°E and south of the Equator. Tropical and subtropical cyclones in this basin are monitored by the Regional Specialised Meteorological Centre in Réunion. ==Seasonal outlook== On October 19, the Mauritius Meteorological Services released their summer 2015–16 outlook. An average season, with around seven to nine cyclones forming, is expected. MMS also indicates that the equatorial region to the north of Mauritius, east of Agaléga and west of Diego Garcia, could be significantly conducive for cyclone formation.
